The SH4 is Edan’s reusable adult pulse oximetry sensor. It has a soft silicone finger tip and is labeled for patients over 50 kg. Edan rates it for immersion disinfection; follow the cleaning steps in your monitor’s operator manual between patients.
Its DB9 plug does not go straight into the monitor. Pair it with the extension cable for your model: LEMO-to-DB9 (SKU 1025840) on the M3, iM60-GT and iM70-GT, or 7-pin-to-DB9 (SKU 1025850) on the iM3, X10 and X12. For patients between 10 and 50 kg, choose the SH5 pediatric sensor instead.
